I NEED YOU...

Motivation is something many of us struggle with. But our motivation for exercise is greater when there are few things tempting and pulling us in the opposite direction. And for many of us, that opposite temptation is bad food.

I know, I know..."but it taste's SOOO Good!!" I've been there and occasionally make a pit stop there. But during this off-week I have another task for you. And it will require some effort but you need to make sure that your motivation for exercise has no counter attack.

So what I need you to do is cancel your cable/satellite until you get down to your desired weight.

Just kidding. But what if we really did that? How much time would it free up? Okay, okay on to the real task for the week.

I need, NEED you to go through your cupboards and fridge and get rid of anything you would consider comfort food, bad food or simply "not getting you closer to your fitness goals" food.

If the food is gone, the temptation is reduced dramatically!!

So get rid of the candy bars, the soda, the ice cream, the white bread, the beer, the chocolate covered raisins, the cookies and whatever else it is you dive into to relax. Remember, if it is not getting you closer to your goal, IT'S TAKING YOU FURTHER AWAY!!

Show your friends, family, coworkers and neighbors that you have control over what you eat and that you can lose weight. You have to be honest with yourself. You know what is good for you and what isn't. Watch again as Craig Ballantyne of Turbulence Training tries to "out-exercise a bad diet." Enjoy.
